As a United States Marine, I deployed all over the world, working alongside several foreign militaries in both training exercises and combat operations. During this time, I developed a passion for firearms, and gained invaluable experience in developing training, effective communication, and instructing. This profession also required the study of concepts directly related to safely owning and carrying a firearm that I have implemented into my courses, including the human response to stress and danger, situational awareness, decision-making, conflict management and de-escalation, attention to detail, and ballistics. Most importantly, this job afforded me the opportunity to learn the capabilities, limitations, characteristics, and proper employment of dozens of weapons systems, including US and foreign small arms and machine guns, indirect fire weapons, and air-to-surface munitions, among others.

My continued interest in firearms and love for instruction and training led me to start High Caliber Services in January 2022. In addition to my ten years of real-world experience, I am an NRA-Certified pistol instructor, Range Safety Officer, Federal Firearms Licensee, and approved to instruct the Handgun Safety and Concealed Carry Course in six New York counties. My goal is to advocate for the Second Amendment rights of New Yorkers, promote safe, competent, and proficient firearm ownership, and prepare new gun owners for the responsibility of protecting themselves and their loved ones.
